Here are some pictures from Sierra Leone! I have to give full credit to Mo and Megan who took many of these pictures on our trip. I have been fighting with Flicker to download more…but I keep loosing. So there should be a few more on there as well.

The women of the village who cooked for the school each day.

This girl ran up to us while we were visiting Matilda, who has polio, and made us beautiful necklaces.
These boys took us on a tour of the village…and KEPT asking for “snaps,” or a picture.
This little girl was my shadow when we were at the village.
She latched on to me the moment I got there, never said a word, and never stopped smiling at me.
I never learned her name, but her face is forever imbedded on my heart.
This sums up a typical moment with the kids…as they flock the person taking the snaps.
It was a constant lesson in patience and learning to have zero personal space. But I wouldn’t give it up for anything!
We got to go to a school where my church, Soma Communities, funded a well through Living Water International.
We got to experience where they were getting water and how this rehabilitated well is improving their entire community. They put on a big performance for us when we were there full with cold Cokes, songs, a skit, thanks from the village chief and a gift. It was amazing.

Yay! I can’t wait to read more of this blog!
Such beautiful faces! I miss them so much! I can’t wait to go back again, hopefully soon!
I’m praying for you and your mission!
